Experience New York

D'AMELIO TERRAS-

Last night, 02/26/11, I ventured into the D'AMELIO TERRAS- gallery and enjoyed a viewing of Roland Flexner. Roland takes a close look at skulls and smoke. The photography was, at best, well printed with a high pixel count. The artist statement published by D'AMELIO is a typical paragraph of text intended to relate the reader to what the gallery assumes its patrons are interested in - punk 70's and 80's crap.
The sculptures are pleasant to share a space with. They expand a small dark dimension of our morbid imaginations by giving us the opportunity to see aspects of our skeletons placed together in odd formations.

I recommend visiting the work, and if you are looking for a small morbid sculpture, you should consider purchasing one.
